ENVIRONMENTAL MUSEUM IN SACY’S SWAMP
Winner competition 2012
Eco-responsibility
Wood + raw earth + reeds
The project marks the gateway to a visit route to the Sacy marshes, a unique ecosystem to contemplate, study and preserve. It is structured around two complementary methods: the search for transparency aiming to merge the buildings to the project’s environment and to affirm a strong relationship between the inside and the outside, and the implementation of natural materials present on the site such as earth, wood and straw/reed successively echoing the ground, the forest and the marsh.
