Eco-materials (raw earth bricks + timber + solid stone) Re-use/ reclamation of local materials Promoting the use of earth as a material to the general public and to professionals
Making building materials out of raw earth CYCLE TERRE is a circular economy project aiming to recycle soil excavated from the building sites of the Grand Paris projects, and transform it into raw earth building materials to contribute to the sustainable building of the city. This project is an extension of the exhibition–experiment 'Terres de Paris, de la matière aux matériaux' (Paris soil, from matter to material), which was organised by the practice in 2016 at the Pavillon de l'Arsenal in Paris with the aim of reusing the excavated soil of Grand Paris.
